— Wild & Free Counseling —

I have a Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services and a Graduate Certificate in Addiction Studies and Counseling. I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in the state of Minnesota. I am also Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy Approved Clinical Supervisor for both LPCC/LPC and LADC licensure candidates. I have been working in the field for over 15 years and have worked in multiple areas of mental health and substance use disorder with kids, teens and adults. I provide culturally responsive, identity-affirming care to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
I bring my real self to the therapy office and encourage you to come as you are, too, and know that you will be respected and supported. In the space we share, you can count on me to have a solid recall for the details of your life. You can also count on me to be an active and engaged participant in the therapeutic relationship. I have been described as non-judgmental, compassionate and empathetic, reflective, warm and solution focused. I like to include that I value professionalism, using humor when appropriate and listening to understand rather than listening to respond.

MA, LPCC, LADC Mental Health Professional, Owner
Life can be difficult to navigate at times but you do not have to do it alone. In our work together I won't try to fix you, tell you what to do or assume what's best for you. However, I will remind you that you aren't broken, give you room to access your own wisdom, support you in figuring out what to do, and collaborate with you on how to make the hard stuff easier to sit with. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and that it's my job to walk alongside you and empower you to work with your own self-knowledge during this process of growth and healing. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for our work together.
Like you, I, too, have experienced my own challenges, hardships and difficulties during various periods of time in life and throughout my own work found an inner source of resilience through being vulnerable, opening up and allowing someone to help me. I strive to help each individual find their own resilience within themselves and hope to be someone who can come alongside you during your journey, too.
Overall, my approach is relational and collaborative. I value honesty, depth, and the therapeutic relationship as a foundation for meaningful change.
I use an integrative approach drawing from multiple therapeutic modalities depending on the individual and their unique needs. I love what I do and would be honored to connect with you and hear your story.

Come as you are. Leave as who you were always meant to be.
Therapy gives you space to slow down, notice your patterns and reconnect to your inner wisdom. It's not about fixing you because you are not broken. It's about helping you remember who you were before the world told you who to be. Whether you're unraveling old wounds, navigating a big life shift or simply craving deeper connection to yourself, therapy can be the place where it finally feels safe to exhale.

From my own experience, I know that looking for a therapist can leave a person feeling pretty vulnerable and sometimes unsure. It's important to learn about a potential therapist before investing the time, energy or money to consult with one. You may wish to know more about what it might be like to work together. I am happy to respond in greater depth about my experience, theoretical perspective, training or anything else you would like to know before scheduling an appointment. If I am not the right fit for some reason, I'd be glad to offer recommendations to other skilled therapists.
Please reach out with any questions you may have. All are welcome at Wild & Free.
I am in network with most major insurance providers and also offer self-pay through a sliding scale fee schedule based on household income. I want therapy to be affordable for people so we can discuss both of these options and decide what works best for you.
